Meet our new Executive Chef, Tom DeGori

Dear Seven Oaks Members,  

I want to introduce myself, my name is Tom DeGori, and I am the new Executive Chef here at Seven Oaks Country Club. I am extremely excited to be here and meet all of our members!

My career started at the Edgeworth Club back in 1985 and I worked there while attending the Pennsylvania Institute of culinary arts. Following school, I did my internship in Key West Florida where I worked and eventually became a sous chef with the Marriott Corporation. My career has allowed me to work in Palm Beach Florida, Key West Florida, and the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. While moving back to the Pittsburgh area, I worked for Marriott and Hilton until 2010 and branched out my food and beverage knowledge as a food and beverage director for the Double Tree Pittsburgh.


As I have had a love for our seniors in our community, I had an opportunity to work at the corporate level for Grace Management who manages senior living facilities up and down the east coast. In my role as a culinary specialist, I would analyze operations for food quality, consistency, and sanitation throughout all the communities.

I reside in Sewickley Pennsylvania and have two amazing children Jenna and Paige. 
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and work on creating new food experiences for our members and enhance new offerings. As you frequent the Club feel free to come and introduce yourself to me. 

Once again, it is an honor and privilege to be part of the Seven Oaks family and team. I look forward to an amazing year here at the Club.
