Who is eligible for the Extended Family Membership?

This is an exclusive invitation to current Full Golf and Family Golf Members of Seven Oaks Country Club.   Full Golf and Family Golf Members and their spouses may extend this special membership invitation to parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.

Are there any Limits?

This category of membership is limited to 20 memberships.  As of May 2016, there are 8 remaining.

How much does the Extended Family Membership Cost?

The Extended Family Membership provides golf membership privileges to any Extended Family Member for $110 per month with the dues paid on a monthly basis.  Other immediate family members of the family member with golf privileges (This includes spouse and children living at home under the age of 23) will be extended Recreational Membership privileges. 

This membership also requires a one- time Initiation fee of $500 that will be waived.  Currently we are providing a 50% savings on the $200 Application Fee, only a $100 Application Fee is required.  

Can more than one Extended Family Member take advantage of this opportunity?

Absolutely!  A current Full Golf or Family Golf member may have his Dad, Son, Brother, and others take advantage of this opportunity.  Each would pay a $100 Appplication Fee, $110 per month in dues, and their immediate family would enjoy Recreational Membership privileges.

Can additional Extended Family Members in the same immediate family have golf membership privileges too?

Of course!  If both a son and the son’s spouse of a current Full Golf or Family Golf member want to have golf membership privileges, the spouse would simply play the applicable spouse add on fee for golf, in this case an additional $300, which would also be billed monthly at $25 per month, and enjoy golf membership privileges.

Are there any additional charges?

The club requires a food minimum of $450 each calendar year as well as a $160 annual fee for inclusion on The Buyer’s Club.  The Buyer’s Club provides each member with a handicap, 4 green fees to be used for guests, and the opportunity to purchase all “in stock” merchandise in the golf shop for cost plus 12.5% and all special orders for cost plus 15% plus shipping.

What is the 12 month loyalty commitment?

All Extended Family Members are required to commit to remain a member for at least 12 months, essentially make a commitment to stay a member and pay $110 per month for one year.  In the event that membership resignation occurs before the end of the 12 month loyalty commitment, payment of the remaining dues for the loyalty period will be required. 

What happens if a Full Golf or Family Golf Membership is not maintained?

In the event that a Full Golf or Family Golf membership is not maintained by the original member or another member of his/her extended family, the Extended Family Membership benefit expires immediately or at the end of the 12 month loyalty period if the loyalty commitment is still in effect.  All extended family members will be offered an opportunity to continue as a member for the applicable dues in the category that best suits their needs.

How is this membership billed?

The current Full Golf or Family Golf Member can agree to have the additional dues and usage charges billed to his/her account or a separate account can be established.
